Following the installation of the pay and
display machine in mid 1998, amendments to the Constitutional Rules were
made at the 1999 A.G.M. As a result the parking triangle issued to
members does not entitle them to park in the members’ car park other
than when pursuing their sport or on club social occasions.
It follows that members are not permitted to leave their
vehicles at the club during the day for business parking
Permits are available for members who
wish to business park at an additional cost of £160 The permit is a
triangle with a “P” printed on it and allows parking in the pay and
display area without any further charge. Please contact the club
managers on 01789296629 to purchase a permit or for more details.
Sections are not permitted to enrol members for
the purpose of casual or business car parking.
-
Illegitimate parking in the Members’ car park
not only denies a member their rightful parking place but also
reduces club revenues. In addition to the pay and display area,
Local Parking Security (LPS) will now be supervising the
members’ car park. Members must ensure that they have a current
triangle displayed to avoid a parking penalty.
-
When the members’ car park is full members may
park in the pay and display area nearest to the clubhouse.
-
Team captains of all sports and other organisers
will be responsible for ensuring that visiting teams and VIP’s
get a day pass from the machine in the reception area of the club
and put it in their windscreen. Supporters must park in
the pay and display area and purchase a ticket
Provision has been made with LPS to allow parents to
drop off their children for their sport in the evenings and at weekends.
Please help us maximise car park revenues and
minimise any inconvenience to members and visitors to the club by
observing and upholding these rules.
