The Fundraising and Social Task Group fullfils delivery of part of the Clubs new Strategy will be busy this season in ensuring that the following key actions are driven by the Team Captains and Sponsoring Team:
- Involve parents. Bring entire Hockey Club together;
- Identify new income streams to ensure hockey remains affordable;
- Fundraising should focus on corporate/business sponsors;
- Begin to look at working with work external partners (local businesses offering smaller financial support, for example a preferred taxi company or preferred public house;
- Provide a social calendar which is aimed to deliver a fun environment, together with non-income generating events.
