Junior Training Times
Training will recommence on Wednesday 8th January 2025 at King Edward School (KES) pitch, Manor Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 7EA.
Whilst our priority is for SHC hockey to remain fun and inclusive, we believe this can be combined with improving and educating our players to help them reach their hockey goals.
The club’s coaching is structured on ‘hockey principles’ with objective measures of tactics and techniques to encourage players to improve individually and in their team play to achieve their hockey goals. Assessments will be continuous and an integral part of the coaching sessions. We believe this process will improve the juniors’ core skills and team play and improve the transition to adult hockey as well as improving transparency and consistency across the club.

Senior Training Times
Senior training takes place at two venues – KES pitch, Manor Road, CV37 7EA and Stratford High School, Alcester Rd, CV37 9DH.
Senior training recommences w.c 6th January 2025 with the following timetable. Each session is led by at least one fully qualified coach supported by other qualified or qualifying coaches. U16 girls and boys will be training with the team they play in on Saturday. 1s and 2s training sessions are by invitation only at the discretion of the Lead Coaches.
