Return to Hockey – At last!

Emails have been sent to all members detailed our return to hockey plans. The full programme of activities starts the week commencing Monday 19th April with slots for Men’s summer league games, junior training, Back to Hockey, Futures – Girls and Boys and a new slot for Rock up and Play.

Men’s 1st Team Coach Opportunity

Stratford upon Avon Hockey Club are looking for a coach for one the fastest improving performance squads in the country.   The men’s 1st team have been promoted three times in three years, winning England Hockey’s Team of the Year and are now in the Midlands Premier Division. Mens season finished and places decided.

The men’s season is now officially over because of the COVID virus, with league positions being allocated as things stand. Men’s 1’s – played 20 won 11 drawn 1 lost 8.  Finished with 34 points, which looks like it might be enough to get them into Prem in fourth place. Co-Vid 19 impacts on Hockey

Due to the Government and England Hockey advice about Co-Vid 19 the Hockey Club has made the decision to postpone the AGM and the Players’ Dinner. All Hockey training and matches have been cancelled. As soon as we can provide some new dates and information we will email all members and post on Face book and Twitter.

Friday 20th March – Hockey Club AGM at the club 7pm start all players, volunteers and parents welcome. Saturday 28th March – Hockey Club Players Dinner – at the Hockey Club for players, umpires and coaches only I am afraid. We are reliant on people helping to arrange the Players Dinner.
